Tumakuru Smart City Limited - Celebrations of AKAM (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav)

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav(AKAM) is an initiative of the Government of lndia to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive lndia and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of lndia who have not only been instrumental in bringing lndia thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable the vision of new lndia, fueled by the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

AKAM Tumakuru, part of Freedom2Cycle and Freedom2Walk event on the occasion of 75th India's Independence day-AKAM (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) and India Cycles4Change Challenge. 

The events running across Tumakuru over a week between 27th September 2021 till 02nd October 2021.

1. Social Campaigning (Online)  - A contest cum campaigning event held between 26th September 2021 till 01st October 2021. 
2. Handlebar Surveys (only for Women and Children ) [Event Completed]- An event conducted as part of survey. Women and Children shall take part in this. A certificate will be issued to all the participants. Two teams surveying across the city across city centers. Event will be conducted on 27th September 2021 at 06:00 AM till 08:00 AM
3. Testing Segregated Lane - An event conducted as part of technical survey. Citizen and technical officials will be part of this event. Event will be conducted on 29th September 2021 at 06:00 AM till 08:00 AM
4. City Level Cycle Exhibition- A contest cum knowledge sharing platform for cyclists.  This event is open to public and the contestant has to register for the event. The contestant shall present the cycle models, different cycles with a short description on the same. Event will be conducted on 30th September 2021 from 09:00AM till 05:00 PM. Location : @Banyan Tree Boulevard.
5. Cycle Repair Clinics (Women only)- A event where the women citizen are given a platform to understand the basic repair and maintenance on cycles. Event will be conducted on 30th September 2021 from 09:00AM till 03:00 PM. Location : @Banyan Tree Boulevard.
6. AKAM-ICMCC - The main objective of this programme is to ensure the citizen are aware of the city security system implemented by TSCL with City Police Department and Health System With Tata Trust available for Public. How best the services can be utilized by the Public and How the citizen can be benefited from these services. An Information Dissemination Platform where general public can be part of this programme. 
• The event will be organized at ICMCC Building, Town Hall, Tumakuru City Corporation premise, Tumakuru on 01st and 02nd October 2021.
• 02 Batches : 01st October 2021 (Registration is open for Public)
• 01:00 PM to02:30 PM
• 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM
• 02 Batches : 02nd October 2021 (Registration is open for Public)
• 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
• 01:00 PM to 02:30 PM
7. Cyclothon-The event conducted on 02nd October 2021. Citizen across Tumakuru will be part of this event. 
8. Walkathon - The event conducted on 02nd October 2021. Citizen across Tumakuru will be part of this event. 
9. Tree Plantation (Afforestation)-The event conducted on 02nd October 2021 at 10:30 AM. Location-Ring Road
