The Team SMV has demonstrated the Smart 7 – a epicenter junction i.e., Townhall Circle in Tumakuru. The Model speaks about the buildings and the technology projects impleeted by Tumakuru Smart City in and around the Townhall Junction. Key projects include Empress Building , City Library, Trauma Care center etc.

The renovated city central library is a unique project of smart city. The library is completely digitized. It has parking facility in the ground floor, and comprises a seminar hall, lounge, reading hall and incubation centre. The seminar hall can accommodate 600 people. Th incubation is located on the third floor. The digital library has around 80000 books and 2000 plus audio books. There are special books in braille scripts too. The digital library has been awarded as one of the best projects by the ministry of housing and urban affairs in 2021. The library has academic videos, audio books, books, data bases, GK quiz, journals, newspapers and magazines.

Integrated Command & Control Centre

Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) centre are setup which will not only

manage safety and surveillance of the city from Police/Traffic Police perspective, but

shall also host Smart Solutions for city's Municipal Corporation.

INTEGRATED KSRTC BUS TERMINAL

"REDEVLOPMENT OF KSRTC INTGRATED BUS TERMINAL " is one such project taken up by Govt. of Karnataka (Tumkuru Smart City Limited – TSCL) and Karnataka State Board Transport Corportation (KSRTC), for easy public transportation and effective utilization of the available space , in the heart of Tumkuru City . It not only creates a better value for the land, but also infrastructural facilities for the public .

Location:

The proposed Intrgrated Bus Terminal of KSRTC, is being planed in the existing KSRTC bus stand, located opposite to private bus stand .

Area Details:

The proposed project has a plot area of 34071.13 Sq.M and the total built-up area is 29,848.46 Sq.M . The salient features of the project are given below.

Public bike sharing [YAANA BIKES]

YAANA is not just another tech start up , we believe in making our cities eco-friendly and less congested .

Objectives:

First phase : the development area of the selected area is about 3.5 sq.km second step: Exclude selected areas.

Consequences

 Setting up station with convenient layout and adequate space

 The bicycles used in the scheme have facilities such as theft proof , weightless, more durable bicycles, tubeless tires etc. Installation of highly reflective LED lights to make the bicycle visible to other vehicles at night.

 Cycle from control centre remotely stations can be supervised.

 Vehicles can’t be stolen and the fittings can’t be destroyed.

 Unlock . Scan QR code on the cycle to unlock.

 End the ride . park at designated YAANA stations near to your destination and manually lock.
