The Team Dr. Shri Shri Shri Shivkumara Swamiji has demonstrated the Green City – a Environment and Public Centric projects implemented by Tumakuru Smart City. The Model speaks about the basic lake facilities and Kids play. Glasshouse is a way ahead to make city an energy efficient. Students has tried demonstrating the Cycling Path, Public Bike Sharing, Stadium and Traffic Lights in the city along with Amanikere Lake view.

AMANIKERE:

            Amanikere is a lake situated in Tumkur. It is a famous spot in the city. It has a special and gorgeous glass house in it. In addition, it also has playing sections, water fountain, musical fountain, Kalyani, boating facilities and a beautiful landscape.

MUSICAL FOUNTAIN IN AMANIKERE:

           The musical fountain which is situated in Tumkur Amanikere is an ideal place, where we can spend our precious time by seeing a beautiful view of musical fountain dance.

KIDS PLAYING SECTIONS IN AMANIKERE:

            Amanikere even has a kids playing section. There kids play and enjoy. There are playing equipments like seesaw, swing, slide, etc., There are 2 kids playing sections.

URBAN HAAT IN AMANIKERE:

            Amanikere even has a Urban Haat, where they keep a food court. They are permanent stalls. There are chairs and tables for sitting. These stalls will be opened only on special occasions.

FLAG POLE IN AMANIKERE:

            There is a huge and tall flag pole situated in Tumkur Amanikere. It is a pride for we the Indians.

GLASS HOUSE:

          Amanikere has a heavenly glass house in it. There are many occasions and functions which take place in the glass house. Programmes like Swadeshi Mela, Exhibitions, Agricultural programmes, Handicraft expo take place in the glass house.

 

 

LHMS FROM SMART CITY:

          The LHMS means ‘Locked House Monitoring System’ which comprises a camera, which takes the pictures of the thieves entering the house and send it to the house owner as well as the Police. Within minutes of receiving the picture, the Police take action and arrest the intruders.

SHIVAKUMARA SWAMIJI CIRCLE IN TUMKUR:

            Shivakumara Swamiji Circle is mainly a great circle in Tumkur city. It is a circle which joins the Bangalore – Tumkur road and you can turn right to reach the great MG Stadium.

MAHATMA GANDHIJI STADIUM:

            MG Stadium is a national level standard stadium. It has been upgraded by Tumkur smart city. The central government has granted 58 crores for this project. The stadium is provided only for football and athletics. To watch the match, seating arrangements have been made which can accommodate 5500 members. Solar panels have been set on the roof. The stadium consists of VIP Gallery and handicap gallery. Around 600 vehicles can be parked in the parking slot.
